Kunal Dutt is a Counsel in the litigation and dispute resolution practice of DMD Advocates. He has represented domestic and international clients on a broad range of contractual, regulatory, constitutional and IPR disputes, before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts in Delhi and Mumbai, various arbitral tribunals and mediation and conciliation forums. He has been involved in arbitrations (domestic and international) under renowned arbitration councils including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Indian London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), and Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) at The Hague.

Prior to DMD Advocates, Kunal was in the chambers of Justice Amit Mahajan, who was then a Standing Counsel for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and has represented the ED in many high-profile bail and constitutional matters before different forums. He was a prominent member of the DMD Advocates' team that successfully represented the Vodafone Group before the PCA at The Hague with respect to the Indian government’s retrospective tax claim of approximately $5.5 billion (including penalty and interest) stemming from the company’s acquisition of the Indian assets of Hutch in 2007.

An alumnus of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Kunal is also a member of the Delhi Bar Council and Delhi High Court Bar Association.
